Boat trailer BigPike XL is made for 5.5-6.2 m long boats with total weight up to 1400 Kg.
There is always idea before you make a product. Idea to create BigPike trailers came from our experience with bassboat. Usin american trailer was so easy and convenient that our team decided to make european version, with certified brakes, axles and safety equipmnet. We weld the frames in our workshop, al materials are precise and fit perfect.
The frame of BigPike trailer is built from 100×40 mm cast iron, wall thickness is 3 mm. Bented parts keep trailer elastic, low prolfile, smooth to tow with car on any roads. Construction of this trailer is calculated for carrying up to 2500 kg, so there is a huge strength in back yard for your boat weight.
One axle contruction allows you easy move trailer without attaching to car or any mechanism. Axle is floating. First we put fully euiped boat on trailer, then adjust axle position in right position. This feature allows to make perfect balance of BigPike trailer – boat in perfect position, weight seperation – about 50-70 kg on trailer coupling. Drive and smile 🙂
Brake system is buit via frame to keep it safe if launching boat in complicated places with stones/trees/muddy bottm etc. Noise isolation by plastic covers prevent extra noiseof released brakes when towing. Brakes have mechanism for reverse and nadbrake comes as stadard equipment.
Led lights – no bulbs on trailer. All electrical system is waterproof. You do not need to disconnet it untill you do not drive in water deeper than connsctionsocket fo car.
Adjustable planks – the lowest possible boat parking with maximum comfort. Esay in – easy out. Check our video tutorials – how we do with BigPike XL and 6 m boat. Alone, easy, at any weather conditions.
There is is 900 kg Knott winch in front, with 2 speed mechanism if you find necessary to winch your boat at some ocasional places, but generally – parking boat using your outboardmotor is the way designed for BigPike trailers.
Extra equipment – BoatBuckle straps – fantastic product with great quality. We prepared towing points where you can attach BoatBuckles or simple straps to tie boat in safest way – on rear part and on front either.
Base setup for BigPike trailers comes in Zinck finishing, but you can ask us to paint trailer at any designed color, we will make it with right and very strong materials. Plastic or laminated frame covering is also possible.
